A couple walking their dog along the shore of Loch Ness captured video of an anomalous object emerging from the water that could be the site's famed monster, but not everyone is convinced that it is a creature. The curious sighting reportedly took place last weekend when Trevor and Sarah Ross visited the iconic location with their golden retriever Molly. While casually strolling along a beach, they noticed an odd shape out on the water.
A frequent visitor to Loch Ness, Trevor marveled that "I never seen anything like that before in the water moving." While the couple was watching the oddity, Molly began barking frantically, which led to the couple deciding to leave the area since the dog seemed "spooked" by the strange scene. However, before they departed, Trevor was able to film the anomaly with his cell phone. In the video, a dark slender object can be seen sticking out of the water, going back under, and then popping up again.
As for what the weird thing in the water was, Trevor conceded that "it might have been a log," though as a self-described believer in Nessie, one imagines that he probably hopes that it was the legendary cryptid. Unfortunately for him, the consensus among skeptical observers who have seen the video is that his first guess is likely correct and that he probably filmed a 'Log Ness Monster' rather than a genuine creature.
