A spooky piece of footage from a guest staying at a notoriously haunted hotel in Texas appears to show a doll moving on its own. The eerie scene was reportedly captured late last month at the Jefferson Hotel, which was built over a century ago in the community of Jefferson and is believed by many to be home to a variety of spirits. That evening, a guest named Kyle was staying in a particularly unsettling room which is festooned with a variety of dolls. In the hopes of catching some paranormal activity, he set up a camera to film the location while he was not there and, when he later checked what it had filmed, he saw what the owner of the hotel described as "probably the most incredible piece of footage that I've ever seen" from the building.
In the creepy video, the camera overlooks an empty room wherein there is a bed with a doll leaned up against it and the wall. Although the activity in the footage is somewhat subtle and hard to discern at first, one can clearly see that the figurine's head appears to turn and peer out from behind a pillow. It then holds that position for approximately one minute before inexplicably tumbling over to the floor. Noting that Kyle had stayed at the hotel on several occasions in the past, the owner indicated he does not believe there was any "trickery" involved in the footage and that strange events surrounding that particular doll have occurred in the past.
