A driver in South Dakota was astounded when he suddenly came upon a huge herd of antelope running down the middle of the road in front of his car.
Essentially stuck behind the dozens of dashing animals blocking his drive, Shawn Barber grabbed his cell phone and filmed the remarkable scene.
In the amazing video, the herd can be seen traveling a considerable distance along the road ahead of him as a few individual antelope come hurrying alongside his car in an attempt to catch the rest of the herd.
Despite having lived in the area his entire life, Barber marveled that he'd never seen so many antelope running together for so long.
According to him, the creatures eventually ceded the road to him when they opted to enter a nearby pasture along the way.
