A peculiar piece of footage from Texas provides a remarkably clear view of an odd boomerang-shaped UFO silently cruising across the sky. The strange scene, which came to light this week, was reportedly filmed in early August by a witness near the city of Amarillo. According to the individual who captured the footage, the aerial anomaly first caught his attention when he spotted an unusual light in the sky. Understandably curious about the weird light overhead, he activated some "infrared night vision equipment" used for hunting and, to his surprise, subsequently saw the distinctly triangular shape of the craft.
Various theories have been offered for what the witness caught on film with some suggesting that the eerie UFO was otherworldly. However, others have posited that the craft could have been some kind of clandestine terrestrial technology with many likening the boomerang-shaped object to what was witnessed during the legendary Phoenix Lights incident. That said, more skeptical observers have posited that the footage could simply be fake or, failing that, the UFO may have been a drone or balloon.
