An eerie series of videos from a home in Texas appear to show ghostly activity unfolding and the man who lives in the house believes that the source of the unsettling events is an angry spirit that attached to him following a near-death experience. The strange case reportedly began back in 2019 when Nick Summers was badly injured in a workplace accident that resulted in his heart stopping three times. While recovering from the incident, he began conducting paranormal investigations as a form of physical therapy and, after a ghost hunt in an abandoned hospital, the man began to notice weird events taking place inside his home.
Since that time, Summers and his wife say that they have moved twice in an attempt to escape the ghostly happenings which seemingly follow them wherever they go. "In both houses, I have to change 14 to 20 light bulbs per month because they pop out, boom. It's insane," he marveled, "in the last house, the intensity got so bad, a coffee cup slid out of a stand and hit me, the sink would turn on. I was getting hit with bottle caps and I would go in the kitchen and all the cupboards would be open like in a movie." Other odd events witnessed by Summers include the spirit of a ghost girl that manifested in their living room and a massive shadow "the size of a fridge" that the couple both saw walk through the home.
In an attempt to document that paranormal activity which has come to plague the pair, Summers set up cameras in their current residence and managed to capture some truly weird events. In the compilation seen above, a pen rolls across a table as if moved by an unseen force, a spoon in a cup of coffee inexplicably begins stirring, and orbs fly across the room. Although their tactic of moving homes has yet to rid themselves of the meddlesome presence, the couple say that they plan to find yet another new place to live in the hopes that the spirit will eventually give up the proverbial ghost.
