A famous Colombian musician captured footage of an odd triangle-shaped UFO that he recently spotted in the sky over New York City. Best-selling artist J Balvin reportedly posted the video on his Instagram account, which boasts a staggering 50 million followers, on Wednesday and marveled that the aerial anomaly "was not a plane nor anything I have seen before." In the footage, featured above, the triangle-shaped object can be seen hovering in the sky in a nearly motionless fashion for several seconds. After the camera turns to one of Balvin's companions watching the weird sight and then pans back to the UFO, it flies away from the scene with remarkable scene.
Given Balvin's enormous popularity, the singer's video understandably spread like wildfire online and was quickly picked up by countless Latin American media outlets. As for what the musician may have filmed, some have suggested that the object was alien in nature, while more skeptical observers argued that it could have been some kind of drone. In light of the attention that the footage garnered, some have also speculated that perhaps the 'UFO sighting' was merely a clever hoax that will eventually connect to a future project.
