Multiple witnesses recently captured remarkably clear footage of a flying saucer that was seen hovering over a Mexican city. According to a local media report, the intriguing sighting occurred this past weekend in the community of Zitácuaro. In a testament to how many people saw the peculiar UFO, at least three different individuals managed to film the aerial anomaly that seemingly suddenly appeared in the sky. While two of the videos show a dark saucer-shaped object, a third piece of footage looks at the oddity from a different angle, which reveals that it is silver-colored.
As one might imagine, when the various videos were posted online over the weekend, the mass sighting caused something of a stir on social media in Mexico. Theories for what the weird object was ranged from an alien visitation to something more prosaic, such as a saucer-shaped lantern known as a cantoya balloon. That said, with no official explanation being offered by authorities nor anyone coming forward to take credit for the 'craft,' the case remains a mystery.
