An inventive new video game puts players in the proverbial shoes of Sasquatch by challenging them to live as the elusive cryptid. The clever simulator, titled Bigfoot Life, is the brainchild of Planet 47 Games, which announced the project on Wednesday by way of the trailer seen above. Set to be released next year, the game plants the player's virtual Sasquatch in a sizeable forest, where they must forage for food such as berries or mushrooms or, if they are feeling particularly 'hungry,' pluck fish from a river.
Beyond finding things to eat, the faux Sasquatch must also figure out how to survive when winter comes and, of course, contend with the cryptid's greatest threat: humans. To that end, players can acquire points by snatching items from unsuspecting campers. However, they must also avoid encountering any Bigfoot hunters, who roam the forest hot on their trail in the hopes of snapping a picture of the elusive creature.
