A webcam watching over a volcano in Mexico captured a giant glowing UFO that soared through the sky over the site that some believe is a secret alien base. The remarkable moment, which reportedly occurred this past Thursday evening, was picked up by a monitoring system that documents activity at the famed Popocatépetl volcano. In the video, featured above, the sizeable illumination can be seen subtly changing shape as it streaks through the night sky. Theories for what the weird object might have been range from alien visitors to something more prosaic such as a plane or a drone.
The incident on Tuesday is not the first time that the webcam has spotted something unusual over Popocatépetl. Previous virtual sightings have included an object seemingly flying into the volcano and a veritable fleet of anomalies exiting the fiery site. In fact, incidents at Popocatépetl have been so plentiful over the years that many have theorized that the location could be a covert alien base.
