A hiker in Oklahoma captured remarkably clear footage of what appears to be Bigfoot sitting against a tree, though some say that the striking scene is simply too good to be true. The jaw-dropping video was reportedly posted on TikTok this past Tuesday by Emmanuel Alfaro, who claimed that the unsettling encounter occurred as he was exploring the Parallel Forest, which is a wildlife refuge with something of a reputation for incidents of high strangeness. While "doing some sightseeing and enjoying the day," he wrote, the hiker spotted "something in the distance" that prompted him to pull out his cell phone and start filming.
Alfaro's footage shows a sizeable hairy creature that sports a human-like face and sits against a tree. After a few seconds, the suspected Sasquatch seemingly realizes it is being watched and turns towards the camera, providing an incredibly clear view of its face, which understandably causes the witness to flee the forest in fright. Since being posted online, Alfaro's footage has gone viral, amassing nearly two-and-a-half million views to date. As one might imagine, some have marveled at the footage, calling it the best-ever glimpse of Bigfoot. However, more skeptical viewers argue that the 'Sasquatch' is simply a costume-clad individual working with Alfaro to pull off a clever hoax. What do you think of the rather fantastic footage? Update: Alas, as many expected, the too-good-to-be-true video turned out to be just that as it has been revealed that the footage was actually just a clever marketing stunt by the Bigfoot Head Shop in Lawton, Oklahoma.
