Videos of strange flashing lights filmed within the last two weeks are spreading on social media. Several residents of Indiana shared their footage looking for answers, and theories include military exercises, flares, and even aliens.
In the first sighting, witnessed by hundreds on October 7 and shown above, rows of pulsating lights drift across the sky before disappearing over Kokomo, Indiana. Reddit users were quick to point out nearby Grissom Air Reserve Base as a likely source of the UFOs, and some even suggested they could be flares. However, not everyone was convinced by this explanation.
"Anyone saying this is flares — if you can provide me tangible evidence that flares appear to teleport to the side like this in training exercises, I'm all ears... Until then I don't care what your pilot uncle says," one user wrote.
Then, just a few days ago more videos from the same region surfaced, showing up to three lights spaced far apart that hovered while changing shape and color. This separate sighting was visible over a larger area of northern Indiana, and it raised similar suspicions and explanations as the one before it.
