A group of bemused firefighters were recently tasked with rescuing a kitten from the neck of a 5-gallon water bottle.
Instead of the usual "cat stuck in tree" story, firefighters in Jakrata, Indonesia were presented with a cat who managed to get its head and one paw through the narrow opening. Residents discovered the unlucky feline and brought it in to the station. The video reveals that an electric saw, usually used to cut away casts for treating broken bones, was used to gingerly slice through the plastic and eventually free the lucky animal. The entire process took about 30 minutes.
The individuals who originally brought it in decided to adopt the cat on the spot.
