The European Space Agency's Mars Express spacecraft captured the Martian moon Deimos passing in front of its view of Jupiter and its four largest satellites. The images from Mars Express were taken by its High Resolution Stereo Camera in February 2022, and show the irregular-shaped Deimos move through the foreground as Jupiter and its Galilean moons (Europa, Ganymede, Io and Callisto) appear in the background. The motion sequence is composed of 80 individual images stitched into a single video clip. For scale, Jupiter is approximately 745 million kilometers away from Mars Express.
