A fan in attendance at a Taylor Swift concert in Madrid captured footage of an eerie shadow figure seemingly taking in the show from the rafters of the stadium. The weird scene (seen below) was reportedly captured late last month as the pop star performed at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium as part of her Eras Tour. In the video, the camera pans across the packed venue before zooming in on a spooky silhouette standing alone in the rafters and swaying to the music. Upon being posted online earlier this week, the weird footage quickly amassed millions of views as it went viral and, unsurprisingly, sparked considerable speculation from her fiercely devoted fans.
Theories on who the mysterious stranger could have been ranged from the fantastic, such as a ghost or an alien, to the amusing, including any number of the pop star's former paramours. Meanwhile, some have suggested that the remarkably media-savvy Swift may have orchestrated the odd video as part of some kind of future project. More down-to-earth observers argued that the odd interloper was most likely a stadium worker or a security guard who would have access to what appears to be an off-limits location of the stadium.
