A mesmerizing video filmed in Florida shows a peculiar UFO that appears to change shape as it hovers in the sky. According to a local media report, the wondrous scene was captured last Saturday afternoon by a bewildered witness in the Jacksonville suburb of Green Cove Springs. In the footage, featured above, the dark object seemingly hovers in place while taking on different forms in an almost undulating fashion.
Since being posted online, the flummoxing footage has spawned several theories for what the weird shapeshifting object could have been. As one might imagine, many observers theorized that the UFO was otherworldly. Meanwhile, more skeptical individuals posited that the anomaly was a drone or perhaps a large trash bag that somehow wafted high into the sky. Interestingly, the puzzling sighting coincided with announced training exercises conducted out of the nearby Jacksonville Naval Air Station.
While the timing would seem to suggest that the UFO could be connected to those activities, a curious detail from the event has raised doubts about that explanation. Before the exercises, the base advised residents that they might notice an "increase in aircraft activity and noise."
