A rather unique piece of footage from a drone that was flying over a city in Canada shows a fast-moving UFO zip past the UAV and nearly knock it out of the sky. The curious incident reportedly occurred back in 2018, but went unnoticed until the owner of the drone was reviewing some of their old videos and noticed the very odd moment from when they had previously been filming over the city of Moncton, New Brunswick. In the footage, the UAV hovers above what appears to be a quiet-looking residential neighborhood when suddenly a peculiar object appears off in the distance and then flies towards the drone at what seems to be an incredibly high rate of speed before seemingly narrowly passing the vehicle just a short distance away.
The operator of the UAV indicated that they initially thought the anomaly could have been a bird, but ultimately dismissed this theory due to the object's tremendous speed, which they also argued would preclude the possibility of it being another drone. Additionally, they noted that they were only around 300 feet from the UAV when the flyby happened, but "I did not hear any sound from it in passing." The footage is something of a rarity in that, unlike the vast majority of UFO videos wherein the observer is on the ground, the scene captured by the drone was from mid-air, which makes deciphering the moment particularly challenging.
