A spooky video filmed by police in Mexico shows an eerie encounter with what they believe to have been a pair of ghost children. According to a local media report, the strange incident occurred last week as two cops in the community of Jala were out on patrol and heard odd noises emanating from a schoolyard. When they stopped to investigate the situation, they were stunned to see two children standing at the locked front gate. Particularly perplexing and unnerving about their presence was that it was around three o'clock in the morning.
In the video, seen above, as one of the cops marvels at what they are seeing, his partner simply laughs uneasily as if he is equally unsettled by the two tots standing before them. The stare-down between the police and the mysterious kids only lasts a few seconds as one of the youngsters subsequently screams and runs toward the school with the other child chasing after them. Since being posted online, the video has amassed a staggering 14 million views.
Despite the footage spreading like wildfire on social media, there appears to be no official explanation from the Jala police regarding what exactly the officers encountered that night. That said, given the strange hour of the incident and the location, many viewers online have suggested that the cops came across some ghost children who may have been former students at the school.
