Members of a British cricket club may be feeling a bit uneasy after a security camera at the site captured a ghostly anomaly floating around their bar. According to a local media report, the peculiar scene unfolded last week at the Clevedon Cricket Club after it had closed for the evening. Sharing the footage on Facebook, the club wrote "how's this for unusual? Chairman checks the CCTV after the Wi-Fi drops off at the clubhouse, only for the footage to reveal some orb-like figure floating around?"
To that end, in the video one can see a somewhat wispy semi-transparent ball of light seemingly maneuvering around the clubhouse. As for what the orb might have been, as one might imagine, the club's social media followers had many suggestions and, of course, quite a few jokes about the weird event. Setting aside the possibility that the baffling ball of light was a former club member paying one last visit to the place, perhaps the most plausible prosaic explanation was that the anomaly was an insect that merely appeared otherworldly.
