A peculiar piece of footage circulating online purportedly shows a security guard speaking to a ghost and then fleeing the scene upon realizing that he was the only one there. The spooky video reportedly appeared online last week by way of a TikTok account which claimed that the eerie incident unfolded at a building in Houston, Texas. In the footage, a dispatcher watches the guard as he stands in a hallway and appears to be having a conversation with someone. The bewildered observer radios the man and asks him who he is talking to and receives a rather chilling response.
The security guard explains that he is speaking to a woman named Miss Abigail and that "she says she wants to see Mr. Griffin." Upon hearing and then confirming the man's account, the astounded dispatcher tells him that the woman by that name actually died two years ago. "You mean you can't see the person that I'm talking to," the stunned security guard asks and the observer indicates that "there's nobody in front of you ... at all." This revelation leads to the security guard stepping backwards in fright, pointing at the possible ghost, and then running away from the alleged apparition in fright.
As one might imagine, reactions to the video have been largely mixed with some believing that the eerie scene is a genuine ghost encounter caught on tape. More skeptical observers, however, argue that the dispatcher's tone sounds almost too scripted and, as such, have suggested that the scene is some kind of fabrication either orchestrated by the two parties or after the fact using a security footage that simply looks like someone is seeing a spirit.
