A dedicated Loch Ness webcam watcher captured an intriguing moment wherein a rather sizeable anomaly surfaced from the water and then seemingly swam alongside a boat. The peculiar scene (seen above) was reportedly spotted by virtual monster hunter Eoin O’Faodhagain as he was watching a livestream overlooking the iconic Scottish site on July 4th. Spanning a rather remarkable four minutes, the sighting began when something emerged from the water close to the shore. As it moved further out into Loch Ness, a boat appears and the anomaly appears to swim parallel with the vessel before ultimately returning to its point of origin.
Looking back on his latest sighting, O’Faodhagain recalled that "my heart was pounding because I knew I was onto something here." He went on to declare that "this picture belongs in any exhibition to do with the Loch Ness Monster. I won the lottery with this video clip." To that end, O’Faodhagain argues that the wake left behind by the anomaly as well as its movements preclude prosaic possibilities such as a fish, seal, or otter and, as such, "the Loch Ness Monster is the obvious choice" for what he managed to spot by way of the webcam. Skeptical observers will undoubtedly beg to differ with the virtual monster hunter's assessment. What do you think of O’Faodhagain's July 4th sighting?
