Kennewick, WA resident Travis Hissong recently captured mysterious objects in the night sky outside his home. "Such a clear sky, so I was just looking at all the stars then out of the corner of my left eye I saw what appeared to be a falling star and then as I focused in on it, I was like that is not a falling star,” he told KAPP/KVEW News. The oblong-shaped light he recorded on his iPhone appears to make erratic movements.
KAPP/KVEW showed the footage to pilot and aviation journalist Mark Miller who suggested that it might have been a Starlink satellite that had a launch around that time.
And yet, the very next night, 9/6/22, Hissong captured more odd video, around the same time in the early morning. This time, the light streak seemed to be divided into multiple objects.
