A nightmarish doorbell camera video from Texas shows a home being visited by a mysterious stranger wearing an unsettling Satanic mask and carrying a sign referencing the Book of Revelations. According to a local media report, the creepy incident occurred last Saturday evening in the community of Carrollton. The homeowner, who opted to remain anonymous, explained that she received a security alert on her phone while she and her husband were out for dinner and, upon checking the notification, was stunned by what she saw. Standing at her doorstep was a large man wearing a red goat mask and holding a sign that read 'Revelation 20:1–15.'
"It's about the end of times," the understandably shaken homeowner explained of the Apocalyptic Bible verse, "it's about judgment day. I freaked out." Fortunately away from her home at the time of the eerie visit, she promptly phoned police to report the unnerving stranger, but he had long since left the scene when cops arrived. As one might imagine, the incident left the homeowner deeply disturbed and fearful that the goat-masked miscreant would return to the residence. Those concerns were shared by neighbors who expressed bewilderment over the bizarre individual captured by the doorbell camera.
While authorities investigate the matter, they indicated to a local TV station that, incredibly, the man had not technically committed the crime of trespassing, so there was little they actually could do about his troubling visit. That said, they asked residents to "remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity." Should the goat-masked stranger be planning to roam around the neighborhood again this weekend, the woman offered a word of warning for the weirdo, noting that people responding to her video on social media said that "they would probably shoot the person" if he popped up on their doorstep.
