Debra L. Burris is a witch, farmer, physicist, and master naturalist. She has a PhD in physics and teaches meteorology, astronomy, and physical sciences at the University of Central Arkansas. She has volunteered as a storm spotter, worked with the National Severe Storms Labs, and presents regularly at Mystic South.
