Geoff Notkin is a television host, meteorite specialist, science writer, columnist, artist, musician, publisher, and photographer. He was born in New York’s East Village, grew up in London, England, and now makes his home in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona. He studied geology, astronomy, literature, photography, and design in London, Boston and New York and is the owner of Aerolite Meteorites LLC—a company that provides meteorite specimens to researchers, institutions, and collectors worldwide.
Geoff appears regularly on television and is best known as the host of Science Channel’s award-winning series Meteorite Men, currently in its third season. He has also made documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, the BBC, The History Channel, A&E, and The Travel Channel, appearing in such programs as The Best Places to Find Cash & Treasures, How the Earth was Made, Wired Science, and Cosmic Collisions.
