Scott Cassell

Scott Cassell is an undersea explorer with 15,000 hours underwater; his journey goes beyond the boundaries of exploration, demonstrating a profound passion for the marine world. He has set records by just attempting to get access to new species to film often risking his life. His endeavors earned him praise from Sultans, honorary titles from two countries for his conservation efforts & the Medal of Valor, two Legion of Merits, and seven Commendations for life-saving with great risk to himself. He has proudly served in Special Operations, and was a cavalry scout, combat flight medic, counter-terrorism operator, & eventually earned the Command of a Disaster Response Company as a warrant officer, seamlessly transforming battlefield skills into those required of a documentarian displaying the ocean's fragility.

With the spirit of a warrior and love for the sea, Scott ventured where few have dared. His historic encounters with the 54 ft. giant squid, thousands of deadly giant Humboldt squid, and great white & tiger sharks have showcased their ferocity but also their gentler sides, including petting, tagging & even playing fetch with Emma, the now famous 12 ft. tiger shark. His deep reverence for the sea drove him to become a high-time submersible pilot, peering his cameras into the unknown all across the world.
