Dr. Stephen Seager

Stephen Seager, M.D. is one of America's leading authorities in mental health care and the criminally insane and a passionate advocate for the reform of the mental health care system in the United States. He graduated from University of California at Davis and received his MD degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia.

Seager worked as an Emergency Room physician for ten years which inspired his first two books, "Breathe Little Boy, Breathe," and "Emergency!'" He then returned to residency training for four years and became a psychiatrist. Dr. Seager is a board-certified psychiatrist employed at Napa State Hospital in Napa, California.
