Steve Edmiston

Steve Edmiston is of counsel to Bracepoint Law Group, serving business, intellectual property, and entertainment clients. He is rated "AV Preeminent" (highest ranking) by Martindale Hubble, and 10 on AVVO. As a screenwriter and producer, Steve has walked in his clients' shoes. His credited features include "Crimes of the Past," distributed by MarVista Entertainment and "A Relative Thing," distributed by Spiritual Cinema Circle and Official Best of Fest. He is currently developing a prohibition-era drama, an animated science fiction series, and a feature documentary, "The Briefing Project."

Steve has also written and produced many award winning short films including "The Maury Island Incident," "Reinventing the Patriot," "The Day My Parents Became Cool," and "Thr33." Steve has taught both screenwriting and producing at Seattle University, the Seattle Film Institute, and the University of Washington. Steve was co-founder and president of Front Porch Classics, and the creator of classic “coffee table games." He is an appointee to the 2024-2025 Humanities Washington Speaker's Bureau, where he speaks about the Prohibition in Washington, and about the Pacific Northwest's 1947 UFO history.
