Friday night's program was a rebroadcast of author Marc Zicree from 4/16/04 discussing The Twilight Zone during the first half of the show, followed by Open Lines.
Night Gallery
In 1969, five years after The Twilight Zone, creator-host Rod Serling introduced TV audiences to Night Gallery. Set in a mysterious museum, Serling prefaced each week's spine-chilling tale by unveiling a dark, sometimes bizarre, painting. A portrait was painted by Jaroslav Gebr for one of the pilot episode stories called "Eyes," about a rich blind woman who goes to extreme lengths in order to see. Interestingly, this segment was Steven Spielberg's first industry job. To view paintings and read more about Night Gallery visit nightgallery.net.
