George Noory hosted a night of pure Open Lines and offered a special hotline for people in areas affected by Hurricane Rita. Throughout the evening filmmaker and radio host Alex Jones provided updates on Hurricane Rita from his headquarters in Austin, Texas. Mark Sudduth of HurricaneTrack.com also phoned in to offer his analysis of the storm from his mobile monitoring station near the eye wall of the hurricane.
Weather Manipulation
In the first hour, Richard C. Hoagland of Enterprise Mission speculated on the 'Hyperdimensional' nature of Hurricane Katrina. Hoagland believes radar evidence shows the storm was artificially manipulated and specifically directed to hit the city of New Orleans.
Scott Stevens Quits
Near the end of the first hour, meteorologist Scott Stevens briefly talked about his decision to quit television weather reporting. Stevens made his final forecast on Thursday night, leaving a nine-year stint at KPVI News Channel 6 to pursue his weather research full-time. Stevens believes there is evidence to suggest the world's weather is being manipulated and, in a recent FOX News story, alleged the Japanese mafia caused Hurricane Katrina as revenge for the U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
