2007 Predictions & Nostradamus

Hosted byGeorge Noory

Author and scholar John Hogue discussed the life and prophecies of Nostradamus. Hogue also shared his predictions for 2007 based on his interpretation of Nostradamus' quatrains combined with astrological factors. The death of Saddam Hussein, followed by the surprise Comet McNaught, may signify that he was "Mabus," one of the Antichrists named by Nostradamus, said Hogue (see this article for a detailed analysis).

The period of 2007-8 is a pivotal one, as the borderline in time between the Piscean and Aquarian age, where courses are set, Hogue declared. Here is some of what he sees coming during this period: Hillary Clinton will win the presidency, with Barack Obama as her likely running mate. She has the potential for excellence, but could fall into darkness like Nixon. Rudolph Giuliani will probably be the Republican candidate, but will turn off social conservatives who won't vote at all. The situation in Iraq worsens with increased US troops. Street protests will grow at home, with an eventual Vietnam-style defeat for the US, and the return of Iraq to three separate provinces rather than one nation. As the US is cut off from Middle East oil, there'll be a boost in the economy revolving around energy independence, alternative fuels and new job possibilities. America will take an isolationist turn to heal itself.

Global Warming: A Contrary View

First hour guest, Dr. Tim Ball, the head of the National Resources Stewardship Project in Canada, shared his views on global warming. Many different types of climate cycles, specifically those related to the sun, can cause warming trends, he suggested. The increase in C02 emissions is overemphasized as a factor in warming, he argued, and the science in the film An Inconvenient Truth is based on faulty computer models.
