Explosion of Science/ Biblical Mythos

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half of the show, Leonard Mlodinow, an author with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, talked about the explosion of science in the last 50 years and how it's propelling us into a fascinating new future. There has been an exponential growth in science as the knowledge base has been built up, he explained. Among the cutting edge discoveries on the horizon, he spoke about CRISPR technology that lets scientists edit DNA. "You could actually design your own creatures. That's exciting in terms of all the medical research that could come out of it," but also worrisome in how humans might be altered, he remarked.

Nanotechnology is presenting some intriguing possibilities for medical technology such as tiny chemical machines that can target cancer cells, as well as sensors in the body that could send an alert to your cell phone when a disease is present, he marveled. We are working with a whole new kind of astronomy that looks at how waves of gravity interact, and this will yield fresh perceptions about the early universe, he reported. Virtual reality is really making headway and in the next 10-15 years, we will experience movies as if we are actually there, he added.

In the latter half, paranormal investigator, author, and publisher of Intrepid Magazine, Scott Roberts, talked about the veracity of biblical history and archaeology, and various metaphysical aspects. Based on his research, he's concluded that Moses was a real person-- an Egyptian named "Senenmut," who was the Grand Vizier under Hatshepsut, a female pharaoh in Egypt's 18th Dynasty.

According to biblical prophecy, the Antichrist is said to rise up and become the leader of the word, during a time of great tribulation, and for years people have been postulating the names of current leaders as suspects, Roberts noted. He also talked about the reptilian influence and bloodline, which he considers to be a form of mythology, since there is not a solid form of proof. He cited accounts of the Anunnaki, gods of the ancients, as possible originators of the reptilian line.
