In the first half, Dr. Joel Wallach addressed alternative health approaches and the benefits of remedies and supplements that aid in the body's recovery from many diseases and ailments. He talked about how COVID affects people differently depending on their age, and why deaths are generally associated with things like hemorrhaging and blood clots that are more likely to befall those with preexisting conditions. Wallach attributes most of the preexisting conditions to eating gluten for decades, which "kills your intestines," and thus "you cannot absorb the nutrients necessary for your bone marrow to make the white blood cells and the antibodies," needed to fend off the viruses. There are some 600 different diseases and ailments that he blames on gluten (which is found in grains like wheat, barley, rye, and oats).
He traces the rise of Alzheimer's to the anti-cholesterol edicts of western medicine and the prevalent use of statin drugs. Cholesterol does not cause plaque in the arteries, he suggested; instead it's things like heated oils, and burnt fat in meat. He advises people to eat plenty of eggs in their diet (Doc Wallach consumes around six a day), as well as lean meats like chicken and fish. This Friday, he offers his free Zoom "Ask Doc Live" weekly event, starting at 8am PT/11am ET.

An author and historian concentrating on medieval Japanese warfare, Antony Cummins, is the founder of the Historical Ninjutsu Research Team. In the latter half, he discussed the lost ways of the ninja, ancient stories of Samurai heroes, and secrets that have hidden away for centuries that can be applied in the modern world to achieve power and success. The Samurai were a kind of Japanese military nobility that began back in the 12th century. Though they could be ruthless, he noted, they were often highly successful in their endeavors. He shared ten steps of success that he gleaned and adapted from their ancient practices.
Among the steps he shared were:
- 'Control your mind'-- He advocates examining the way the mind works, re-structuring disorganized processes, and learning not to be swayed by emotions.
- 'Build a fortress'-- By this Cummins means creating an organized space where you can fully be yourself and control the elements.
- 'Follow a way'-- Figure out something meaningful to you that you can dedicate your life toward.
He also talked about the concept of when to act, which in Samurai terms, is whether or not to "draw one's sword." Most of the time, it is advantageous not to act, he said, though if one is always like that, they risk becoming a coward.
