Numerology of the Election & 2021 / Working with Dreams

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half, numerologist Glynis McCants discussed the numerology of the election and how 2021 will have a very different energy and a major shift from the chaos and uncertainty of 2020. She noted that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were both born on the 20th day of the month, which tied them into the 2020 energy. Further, Biden has a "2" vibration, which is associated with empathy and working collaboratively. Pres. Trump is a "4" lifepath born on a "5" which indicates he can be his own worst enemy, she commented, but because the world number "5" is coming up in 2021, "Donald Trump will still be very much a part of the conversation," even as Biden takes over. For President-Elect Biden, with a "2" lifepath and an "8" destiny number (which adds up to the number "1"), this suggests his time has arrived, she added.

McCants noted that several days this month, 11-11-20, 11-20-20, and 11-29-20, are powerful numerologically and could be opportunities for us to manifest what we want, tune in to our intuition, or make commitments. Conversely, the dates of 11-17-20 and 11-26-20 (Thanksgiving) are potentially prone to conflicts. December 2020, a "12" month, could be a good time for celebrating and having fun, she shared. She is optimistic about COVID treatments in the "5" year of 2021, which is about "movement." Glynis, whose office number is 1-877-686-2373, also spoke about a person's attitude number (formed by the month and date of birth) that can color someone's personality.

Serge Kahili King, Ph.D., has a doctorate in psychology and was trained in shamanism by the Kahili family of Kauai as well as by African and Mongolian shamans. In the latter half, he talked about the types of dreams we have, how to remember them, and techniques for exploring and utilizing them. He outlined different categories, including liminal dreaming, lucid dreaming, daydreaming, and nightmares. King associates liminal or hypnagogic (just waking up or just falling alseep) dreams with odd psychic phenomena, and lucid dreaming with intriguing opportunities to change aspects of the dream.

The phenomena of dreaming relates more to the idea of the mind rather than the brain, he said, as elements and story lines from dreams may contain amazing experiences that are not part of our memories-- "things that you've never done, and never thought you could do." One way of working with dreams that have unresolved endings or disturbing content, is to recall them in a waking state and imagine a positive or desired outcome to the story, King suggested. Having documented some 5,000 of his own dreams in a journal, he advised that writing them down is a key way to increasing recall of them. He also enthused about a kind of vivid daydreaming with your eyes open, such as employed by fiction writers, in which they create entire worlds while awake.
