In the first half, author Kevin J. Anderson shared his experience as the author of over 150 sci-fi novels, including those in the Star Wars, Dune, and The X-Files universes. Anderson recalled becoming interested in writing in the genre after seeing War of the Worlds as a child, even before he could read. Although he acknowledged that sci-fi is often ahead of its time in its imaginings of future technology and space exploration, he emphasized the importance of addressing the current concerns of his audience through his writing. He heard from listeners who shared their own favorite works of sci-fi, many of which he also admired: Riverworld by Philip José Farmer, Frank Herbert's Dune, and Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End, among others.
Drawing upon his science education, Anderson discussed other topics of interest. Referring to the alien invasions depicted in popular sci-fi movies, he expressed skepticism that ETs would have either the desire or the means to travel to Earth from so far away in the galaxy. He also speculated on the future of artificial intelligence, which, he expected, could go well or poorly for humanity. Based on our current use of AI, for example, Anderson argued that it's obvious that it has tremendous value for us going forward. However, he warned, "I'm worried about an AI that gets a little bit out of control."

Callers in the second half included Ed in California, who related the story of a friend in charge of maintaining powerful military radars on the West Coast of the United States in the 1950s. As an experiment, his friend would point the radars straight up into the night sky, where, Ed said, they frequently picked up UFO activity. Upon being detected, he continued, the unidentified objects would sometimes change direction. Louise in Kentucky, who claimed to be the reincarnation of Cleopatra, divulged the results of her research into the Egyptian goddess Isis. To promote Christianity throughout his empire, she explained, the Roman emperor Constantine adapted the story of Isis, Osiris, and Horus to correspond with that of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. And Whitt in California made a connection between the "Havana syndrome"—a mysterious affliction befalling American diplomats, believed to be perpetrated by the governments of adversarial nations—and "targeted individuals" such as himself, who believe they are regularly monitored and harassed by secret official forces.
The final half hour featured a replay from 10/6/20 of James Fox discussing his documentary The Phenomenon, which deals with an alleged global cover-up of UAP.
