In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs addressed the natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that our bodies need to maintain good health. Drinking green tea has many benefits, he reported, including supporting the immune system and the heart, and protecting the skin from the sun. Eating food actually stresses the immune system, Fuchs suggested-- that's why restricting calories and reducing food intake is one of the best things you can do to increase longevity and reduce inflammation.
40% of Americans are dealing with chronic pain issues, he cited, and in some cases, they can get relief from various forms of bodywork like massage therapy or Rolfing. Most people think of melatonin as a sleep aid, but it also functions as a relaxation aid that antagonizes stress hormones like cortisol and is a great booster for the immune system, Fuchs remarked. He also recommended slow deep breathing, as well as taking warm baths as a drug-free method to reduce anxiety and increase calmness.

Retired major crimes investigator for the Syracuse, New York, Police Department, Chris DePerno, was an overall skeptic about the alien abduction phenomenon. In the latter half, he detailed how after retiring from the police force, he joined MUFON, and began investigating cases that held up in interviews and evidence. In specific instances, he came to believe the testimony of people who experienced what, he says, can only be explained as a genuine phenomenon. One of the cases that convinced DePerno involved a corrections officer who saw a craft in the middle of the road and then experienced missing time. He later had to halt a hypnotic regression session because what he was recalling was too terrifying. Subsequently, the corrections officer photographed a 'Tic Tac'-type UFO over his home that was reviewed by analyst Bruce Maccabee and found to be authentic.
Among DePerno's intriguing findings is that some abductees undergo "suspended time"-- they're aware of what is going on around them, but the amount of clock time that transpires is much longer than what they experience (in contrast to "missing time" where they wake up not knowing what happened). He has concluded that many abductees suffer from various physical injuries after their encounters. One theory is that when the abductees receive telepathic messages from their captors, it's accomplished through microwave energy that could have damaging effects. DePerno suspects that the UFO occupants are researching humanity, and we are like a Petri dish to them. He also recounted an incident in Tuxedo Park (Hudson Valley, NY area) where a triangular-shaped craft hovered over the lake and dropped a barrel-shaped object into the water. Later, a light was seen moving at high velocity underwater.
