David John Oates discovered reverse speech in 1987. According to Oates, reverse speech is a form of human communication that the brain automatically generates as we speak. It can be heard when human speech is recorded and played backwards, and Oates believes it can give new understandings of language and the human mind. He joined George Noory on Friday's show to discuss his research into reverse speech, including his speech analysis of Christian leaders which shows the Antichrist has infiltrated the church.
Last year, Oates started playing audio of sermons from various Christian leaders backwards. "What I found was quite shocking... I found a modern church that was not following Jesus, not following the teachings of Christ, and the reversals were full of cultic/satanic messages," he revealed. Oates estimated out of approximately 40 preachers only 3 or 4 used speech that was congruent both forward and backward with their faith. There was an overwhelming number of negative reversals, many about money or wealth, he added. According to Oates, these negative reversals are signs of the Antichrist's takeover of the church. He defined the Antichrist as an energetic spirit that has been here for 2,000 years and is already sitting on the throne of the hearts of those who follow him.
Oates described the practice of finding reverse speech within audio recordings. Software can be used to speed up the process, but it cannot find the precise location of the reversals, he explained, noting it still requires hard work and a well-trained human ear. "They are very difficult to hear; they're quite quick and fast amongst the gibberish," Oates admitted. He suggested reverse speech is the voice of our spirit talking. The brain is automatically and subtly altering the sound of our forward speech, and it is the spirit speaking within the reverse speech, Oates noted. He also shared several audio clips of reverse speech in the second hour.

Open Lines followed in the latter half of the program. Walter, a skeptic from Pennsylvania, told George about his theory regarding human evolution. According to Walter, humans can be categorized into different species. "We cannot all be of the same species... we are a hodgepodge of different species, subspecies, and races," he said, noting we are all of the genus homo but different species. As an example, he pointed out Southern Europeans are a different race than Northern Europeans, and this is borne out genomically in the DNA.
Bill in Ohio shared his theory about the Anthropocene extinction. He spoke about the geographical history of the Karoo basin in South Africa, where according to Bill, it was once covered in ice. Now it's a dry shrub land, he added. What happened there is a microcosm of what will happen to the planet, Bill suggested. "I think we're getting to a point in time where humanity is going to experience a great diminishing, and that diminishing is going to be parallel to the diminishing of the environment," he said.
The final half hour featured a replay of UFO researcher Chase Kloetzke discussing the 'Starchild Skull.'
