In the first half, Dr. Joel Wallach addressed the human body's ability to achieve natural healing, along with the benefits of remedies and supplements that aid in the body's recovery from chronic conditions. He pinned the cause of Alzheimer's on a simple nutritional deficiency-- that of cholesterol. Wallach contends that cholesterol does not block arteries to the heart; rather, the culprit is consuming things like cooking oils and fried foods. He also related the disease of MS to this issue, as well as other nutritional deficiencies.
In his show appearances, he has frequently suggested that people avoid eating gluten products, which he believes damage the body's ability to absorb nutrients. He characterized a substance in buckwheat, fagopyrin, as being worse than gluten, associating it with lupus. For the skin problem of psoriasis, Wallach again pointed toward nutritional deficiencies and recommended such supplements as MSM and collagen peptides. Metaphysical teacher, RJ Spina, has verifiably healed himself of permanent chest-down paralysis, severe chronic illness, and life-threatening conditions. In the latter half, he discussed the principles and techniques needed to access higher states of consciousness and channel energy in a way that can allow the body to thrive. There are various levels of consciousness, and we become more sentient as we learn about ourselves through creativity and self-awareness, he indicated. And as we start to use higher consciousness, "we're going to move past the agreed upon limitations that we have misidentified ourselves with" and go beyond our physical bodies and the five physical senses, he continued.
It was leaving behind the ego-mind identity and its "story of disharmony and disease" that helped him to heal his condition, he explained. By not identifying with what is happening, one can stay in a meditative observational state, said Spina, noting that this kind of detached perspective gives one the ability to heal and transcend. He shared several meditation techniques, such as pretending your eyes (and what they're seeing) are not connected to the mind, and saying the phrases 'I don't know' (which empties the mental body) and 'I don't care' (which flattens the emotional body). Meditation is giving yourself permission to relax mentally and emotionally, he added.
