Conflict Zones / Spirit Guides & Dreams

Author and documentary filmmaker Robert Young Pelton is an iconoclast known for his entry into most of the world's conflicts over the last 25 years. In the first half, he discussed current conflicts and how the outcomes will influence the US, as well as the changing structure of global politics. Regarding the recent death of Iran's president in a helicopter crash, he noted that the country still used a lot of equipment they bought from America decades ago when the Shah was in power, and the age of the helicopter and weather conditions may have contributed to the accident. The Russia-Ukraine conflict is very much a "war of attrition," and if the US continues its aid to Ukraine, Russia will eventually lose, he said, as it's very much a numbers game. While America is no longer a singular power that rules the world, he characterized Russia as an economically weak country that nonetheless can create a lot of havoc, though he doesn't believe they will use nuclear weapons.

Pelton doesn't view China as the US's enemy; they need Americans to buy their goods. It's a fictional narrative that Taiwan belongs to China, he added, and while the Chinese have engaged in some saber rattling, he doesn't think they will invade the island country. He expressed concern that the US is leaving Africa behind (through waning efforts like the military's AFRICOM), as in the years ahead, that continent is "one of the most beneficial places for us to build relationships with." Also, looking to the future, Pelton said it's essential to resolve the war in Ukraine because if Putin isn't stopped, he will start invading other countries in an attempt to rebuild the Soviet Union.

Author Samantha Fey co-hosts two popular podcasts, Psychic Teachers and Enlightened Empaths, which teach listeners how to embrace their innate sensitivity. In the latter half, she spoke about how we can seek out help from our spirit guides and angels, the concept of a soul plan, and insights and revelations related to dreams. Fey emphasized the importance of silence and listening to one's inner voice to connect with angels and guides. The soul plan is like a blueprint that is developed before we are born, and it designates areas in which we seek to learn and grow. Yet, it can change or be modified as our lives go on, she shared.

In analogy to a school, she suggested that angels could be viewed as the school principal overseeing the bigger picture of our soul plan, while spirit guides are like classroom teachers who have an understanding of the ins and outs of human existence. When she first started getting interested in metaphysical topics, she had a series of recurring dreams of attending a "psychic school" where she learned how to read auras and talk to guides. On the subject of manifestation, she advised that when you are thinking about a goal, "always think about how can you share that goal with other people once you accomplish it. And that's really going to boost your manifesting if you can do that." Fey also touched on her interest in the work of George Noory's aunt Shafica Karagulla, a pioneering psychiatrist who explored psychic phenomena.
