Bigfoot, UFOs, & Military Involvement

Hosted byConnie Willis

Sasquatch expert Henry Franzoni joined guest host Connie Willis (info) to delve into Bigfoot sightings, UFOs, and military involvement. Franzoni said he has been involved in Bigfoot research since 1993. He initially joined Peter Byrne's Bigfoot research project and was involved until 1998. His investigation included encounters with clandestine military forces, which puzzled him. Over the years, Franzoni has developed his theories based on his experiences and the stories he has heard. He suggested that the military might be involved in this mysterious field, though he admitted he could not prove his theories definitively.

Franzoni spoke about his interest in physics and UFO phenomena, which led him to the work of Dr. Salvatore Pais, who has published a series of UFO patents. Franzoni explored Pais's concept of the "Super Force" by modifying Einstein's field equations, which he believes provides a theoretical foundation for understanding paranormal phenomena like UFO propulsion and possibly even shape-shifting creatures. According to Franzoni, this modified general relativity could explain many unexplained phenomena and implies that the U.S. government has been leveraging such physics for secret projects since the 1920s.

One notable incident in Franzoni's research involved a Bigfoot detector experiment in 1995, where they deployed declassified troop movement sensors in Mount Hood National Forest. On the brink of activating the system, a man claiming to be from the CIA appeared, and that night, a mysterious bolt of electricity destroyed their equipment. Franzoni suspects this was a warning from some government entity. Later, he learned from a retired U.S. Forest Service employee that they had been directed to the wrong location, suggesting a deliberate misguidance. This experience reinforced Franzoni's belief that there are covert efforts to obscure the truth about Bigfoot and related phenomena.

Washington State UFO Sightings

Jason Mattson is the Executive Director of the Lewis County Historical Museum in Chehalis, Washington, where he works to preserve and promote the unique and sometimes strange history of Lewis County. In the first hour, Mattson shared his lifelong interest in local history, which began with a childhood visit to the museum he now directs. His interest led him to uncover fascinating and peculiar stories about the area. He recounted his own UFO sighting at age 12 when he observed a black triangle-shaped object hovering and disappearing over a hill.

Mattson discussed Kenneth Arnold, a significant figure in UFO history. Arnold's sighting of nine fast-moving flying objects near Mount Rainier in 1947, which he described as saucers skipping over water, eventually led to the coining of the term "flying saucer," Mattson explained. He described the historical context of Arnold's sighting, noting that the summer of 1947 saw a surge in UFO reports, including the famous Roswell and Maury Island incidents. This period also influenced Hollywood, resulting in a wave of sci-fi movies in the 1950s, he added.
