Catastrophe on Mars

Hosted byArt Bell

John Brandenburg, PhD is a plasma physicist. He did his graduate work in California at Lawrence Livermore National Lab in controlled plasmas for fusion power, and has worked in defense, energy, and space research. Monica Rix Paxson was his co-author of the book "Dead Mars, Dying Earth," which presented evidence that the Red Planet was once thriving, but suffered a global climate crisis that wiped out all life. They discussed parallels between that catastrophe, and current indicators of climate change on Earth which could doom us to the same fate.

Brandenburg said that JPL seemed to be deliberately avoiding evidence of past life on Mars as well as pointed out NASA's apparent efforts aimed at a manned mission. They also discussed the Face on Mars and other possible structures and how the evidence of the artificial origin of these had been covered up. In the last three segments, Paxson's husband, publisher, and co-author Steve Corrick joined the program.

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe appeared in the first hour of the program to talk about a spate of at least 18 cattle mutilations in Oregon. She played audio interviews with a veterinary investigator, and a hiker in the area who found mutilated livestock.
