Registered nurse Joyce Riley served as a Captain in the USAF in support of Operation Desert Storm, which started her on the path of investigating the truth about Gulf War syndrome. She said the Department of Defense does everything they can to keep the truth from families who have lost loved ones in war, and that she has found huge amounts of fraud. She talked about our military personnel being used in experiments without their knowledge.
She also reported on a new parasite preying on Gulf War veterans and described sores that arise from it and how after they bleed, a worm makes its way to the surface of the skin. Yet, the DOD says this condition does not exist. Riley said that armed Apache helicopters were used at WACO and that we were probably not told the truth about the Oklahoma City bombing.
In the first hour, Art talked about William Pfeiffer, creator of the radio broadcasting USENET newsgroup, who died in a recent car accident. The first and last hours include Open Lines.
