In this full night of Open Lines, Art opened the show talking about a recent speech by Bill Clinton, and how his top political aide had quit due to a sex scandal involving a prostitute. Art says he was confused about a recent comment by Clinton that crime is down but drug use is up. He asked the audience for their predictions for the 21st century. One caller thought that Cuba was working on reactors in order to make plans for a nuclear attack. Another predicted that a race war was imminent.
One caller discusses a cartoon called "The Eyes of Mars" about people living on Mars 30,000 years ago - the caller says it's reminiscent of what many guests on Coast to Coast talk about. Charlie, the angry conservative caller, gets through at the end of hour 3 and accuses Art of being a communist because of his recent trip to Russia.
