Roswell Wreckage Witness

Date

Hosted byArt Bell

In the first hour, the late Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr, son of the famous officer from the Roswell Army Air Base, Jesse Marcel, described his experience seeing and holding pieces of wreckage from the Roswell crash, which his father brought by the house on the night of July 8th, 1947. Marcel recalled being awakened at 1 or 2 AM to see the debris, which his father excitedly called "parts of a flying saucer."

Marcel described metallic pieces that were "not very reflective" and "very light," as well as some material that looked like black plastic, and small I-beams that had "purple-type writing or symbols on the inside surface." He added that "this was only a small part of what was out there." After this, his father disappeared for about two days, and when he returned, he told his family that they were to forget what had happened.

Marcel said the famous photo of his father displaying the supposed wreckage was definitely not the material that he had seen for himself. Marcel recalled that his father never mentioned anything about bodies or beings of any kind. The events of that night affected the rest of his life and caused Marcel to always have his "eyes to the skies" looking for UFOs. The latter part of the show featured news and Open Lines.
