In this epic "all disclosure" show, a slate of guests discussed the US government revealing information about the UFO issue. "UFO lobbyist" Stephen Bassett predicted a proposed initiative would pass with full citizen involvement and "would have a very powerful effect on how we view ourselves and our country." Richard C. Hoagland then spoke about recent briefings at the White House regarding an ancient ET presence on Mars, and both the open and covert levels of government involved in the secrecy surrounding it.
In the second hour, Dr. Steven Greer revealed his meetings and contacts with government officials, including three hours with the director of the CIA, who Greer said knew the subject was real. Greer continued by chronicling the Clinton White House interest in UFOs and officials he had advised. In the third hour, astronaut Edgar Mitchell said that there was a need to "break through this wall of silence" by bringing the pressure of the press and the electorate on the government. Mitchell concluded that UFOs were a key issue to revitalize the democratic process.
Next up was lawyer Peter Gersten of Citizens Against UFO Secrecy and retired command Sergeant Major Robert O. Dean. Gersten said it was useless to petition the government for information about UFOs, although he said he could prove an ET presence if he took the issue to court, and that crop circles were the "best evidence." Gersten noted that citizens have the resources to answer the UFO question without recourse to the government. Dean disagreed, commenting that Americans could act through their elected representatives and save the Constitution. In the last hour, Bassett announced that Arizona politician Frances Barwood would be running a campaign based on ending UFO secrecy. Gersten said he planned to bring the UFO issue to the public with court cases where he would present documented evidence, including for the existence of "interdimensional beings."
