Susan Ash

Biography:

Susan Ash is the founder of SAVE: Stop Animal Violence. She's lived in Flagstaff for 14 years and was always hearing stories from people about the abuse of the Havasupai pack animals going back at least 25 years. She reached a breaking point around the beginning of 2016 and decided she was going to do something about it. She started making calls trying to get some help and to educate herself about the issue. She was finally so fed up with the situation that it led to a meeting with federal authorities in March 2016 and the formation of SAVE.
