Michael Badnarik

Michael Badnarik

Biography:

Michael Badnarik is the 2004 Libertarian Presidential Candidate. He went to Indiana University in Bloomington and began his career as a computer programmer at nuclear power plants in Illinois. He moved to California and was granted a secret security clearance to work on the Stealth Bomber simulator. Following changes to California Gun laws, Badnarik moved to Texas where he worked as a senior trainer for Evolutionary Technologies International for nearly four years. He has volunteered with the Red Cross and has worked as a Scoutmaster.

Badnarik essentially came out of nowhere to win the Libertarian nomination for President. He was not considered one of the top two front-runners; Hollywood producer Aaron Russo and radio talk show host Gary Nolan. However Badnarik must have made quite an impression on the delegates at the convention as the vote-count in the runoff between he and Russo was very close.
