Dr. Craig P. Bauer is the author of two books, Secret History: The Story of Cryptology and Unsolved! The History and Mystery of the World’s Greatest Ciphers from Ancient Egypt to Online Secret Societies. He is also the editor-in-chief of Cryptologia, a journal devoted to all aspects of cryptology. He lectures widely and has appeared on the television program Codes and Conspiracies. For 2011-2012 he served as the Scholar-in-Residence at the National Security Agency (NSA) Center for Cryptologic History. He is currently employed as professor of mathematics at York College of Pennsylvania.
