Cindy Campbell

Biography:

Cindy Campbell is a retired Navy officer who was very nearly killed in the Pentagon attack. She lost several friends and left the building that day with nothing but the uniform on her back. She was also one of the first non-emergency personnel allowed back into the building. For much of the remainder of her Navy career she served in the Bush and Obama White Houses, where she worked on issues related to military families. When she retired after 30 years in the Navy, Cindy passed on a lucrative defense industry job and went to work for Fisher House.
