Col. Mike Brown

Biography:

Mike Brown is CEO of Spiritual Warrior Foundation, a 501(3)C (pending) nonprofit and host of "Crisis in America- PTSD and Veteran Suicide." Col. Mike Brown was commissioned in the Signal Corps upon graduation from the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio, in 1990. Initial assignments include Platoon Leader and Operations Officer, 16th and 521st Signal Companies, 40thSignal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. He later served in the 1st Signal Brigade, Taegu, Korea, commanding Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment. Col. Brown served as a Branch Chief for the Warrior Preparation Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1995 and later as the G6 Operations Officer for the Allied Command Europe Rapid Reaction Corps in Monchengladbach, Germany in 2000. Col. Brown deployed and supported missions in Bosnia and Kosovo in these assignments. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Col. Brown served as the Battalion S3 in 2003 for the 40th Signal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade.  

He is a graduate of the Signal Officer Basic and Advance Course, Combined Arms Service Staff School, Army Command and General Staff College, and Army War College. He holds two Master’s degrees from Webster University and the United States Army War College.
