George DeAngelis is a Retired El Paso Police Assistant Chief and Chief of Staff with over 28 years of law enforcement experience. He directed the dept’s executive staff and maintained operational control of centralized and decentralized operations. Upon retirement, he began teaching criminal justice classes at Park University and University of Phoenix as an adjunct faculty member. His consulting work includes training in criminal justice covering topics such as contempt of cop, early warning systems, private-public policing, community policing programs, the policing paradox, and more. He has a Masters of Arts in Management from Webster University and a Masters of Science in Administration of Criminal Justice and Security from University of Phoenix. He is certified Homeland Security Level III by American Board for Certification in Homeland Security with American College of Forensic Examiners International, Inc. He received a Master Peace Officer Certification from the State of Texas and was awarded as the Northeast El Paso Officer of the Year in 1990.
